I love standing in my backyard watching the beautiful show of twisting leaves gracefully falling off the large trees during the Fall season. Into the Woods 2 was inspired by these colorful leaves dancing in midair. This collection was created by the hand printing technique called Eco Printing; transferring natural pigment of leaves onto fabric or paper. The end result creates a beautiful impression of nature’s beauty. I like to take my own spin on the technique by digitally manipulating the color of each print. The dark rich color of Into the Woods II was created to compliment the first collection of Into the Woods, combining the two collections together creates so many choices of saturated colors, textures, and beautiful prints to create your next project, whether it’s a quilt, clothing, wall hanging, pillow or a handbag.
