We joined the BERNINA Textile Group (6th generation, family-owned Swiss Sewing Machine Manufacturer) in 1997. You can learn more about BERNINA on their site. While we are part of the BERNINA family, we don’t play favorites! What do we mean by that? We are honored to have friends across the industry. We work together with all the embroidery machine manufacturers to test our designs and supplies and collaborate on new features and ideas. In our studio, we test our designs on every brand of machine and a variety of models. (It’s pretty much embroidery paradise) You can trust that our designs will stitch out beautifully on the machine you love.

We have over 700 amazing retail partners across the United States, Canada, and even a few in England or Australia that offer OESD products in their shop. If you haven’t found your local OESD shop, please let us know! We’d be happy to make an introduction for you.

One of our favorite aspects of OESD is collaborating with designers and artists from all walks of life. Fabric designers, illustrators, chalkboard artists, watercolors and more. We are also blessed to have amazingly talented employee artists that help guide our creative process together with our team of educators and product experts.
